Organise and fund learning experiences beyond the classroom and help the children at Reading Roots access new worlds to build their vocabulary, oral communication skills, and more. - Design the learning experience - Adapt the programme to the children’s needs, with input from the Reading Roots team - Organise and oversee operations (including engaging corporate volunteers, securing transport and tickets)
Work with the Reading Roots team to introduce new skills (e.g. financial literacy) through novel classroom experiences. - Design the learning experience - Adapt the programme to the children’s needs, with input from the Reading Roots - Receive feedback or reports, as needed
Donate books that may be used to grow home libraries, for our monthly book club, or to build the Reading Roots community library. - Propose titles and how they could be used - Get the okay and details from the Reading Roots team* *We are unable to accept unsolicited book donations, so please check in first!
