Reading Roots is a non-profit organisation that empowers children aged 4 to 9 from under-resourced homes with strong literacy foundations and a love for reading.
Our programmes are free of charge and provide highly individualised coaching through a 1 teacher : 1 child ratio.

At Reading Roots, we believe every child deserves the chance to read, grow, and thrive. We work with volunteers to support children in growing letter by letter, word by word, story by story.
Together, we nurture literacy, strengthening each child’s foundation for growth possibilities, enabling better futures to take root.
